Taos school of fine arts

DEFINITION

Established in Taos, New Mexico in 1932 by Emil Bisttram, the classes, winter and summer, were held in his home. Curriculum focus was Abstract and Transcendental Art with underlying themes of spatial relationships or Dynamic Symmetry. Subjects were Art, Dance, Music and Drama.
