Ruskin school of drawing and fine art

DEFINITION

Located at Oxford University, it is a visual art school and research institute which also houses the Ruskin Laboratory with focus on exhibitions and research. John Ruskin founded the school in 1871 at the Ashmolean Museum, and in 1974 it moved to its current location at 74 High Street in Oxford.
