Pennsylvania society of miniature painters

DEFINITION

Founded by Emily Drayton Taylor in 1901, she served as President from its founding until 1951. The society had its inaugural exhibition in 1902 at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and continued with semi regular exhibitions at the PAFA until 1951. The society ceased to exist in 1954.
