Orthodoxy

DEFINITION

Adhering to or agreeing with the accepted, traditional and established doctrine, an acknowledged standard, a traditional form, or an established religion; conventional. Or, holding orthodox opinions or doctrines. The opposite of orthodox is heterodox. Also see academic, p.c., and popular culture.
