Louis-philippe hebert prize

DEFINITION

In 1971, the St-Jean-Baptiste Society of Montr??al honored the memory of sculptor Louis-Philippe H??bert by creating the Prix Louis-Philippe H??bert (medal), given to an artist of outstanding ability and stature in Qu??bec arts. It is not awarded on a regular basis. In 1971, Fernand Leduc was a recipient. The last artist awarded was Jocelyne Alloucherie in 1998.
